In January of 1995, as a benefit for cancer research, David reached the 23,000 foot summit of Aconcagua, Argentina, the tallest mountain in the western and southern hemispheres.

An international traveler, and a true Globe-Trotter with a genuine love for humanity. From the cities to the most remote parts of the earth, no matter where you find him on this planet, David will always be reaching out and making friends with the local and indiginous people of any community or tribe.

From his High School days until today, through international travel, and a strong commitment to Personal Development and Community Service, David has developed a deep insight into human nature, and a genuine appreciation for the magical gift of LIFE.

An avid word-smith, David enjoys writing inspirational short stories and poetry, finding creative writing to be one of his favorite means of reflecting upon life, and recording the insights from the experiences of his journey. A collection of David Strauss' creative works, going back to 1983, are in the first stages of publication, and will soon be available to the general public.

On September 7th, 2008, David received a surprise "gift" from the universe. He was nearly killed at the Chaco Canyon Cultural Preserve, when a rock formation collapsed, and a falling rock landed on his head.  After a 3 hour self-rescue and 90 day recovery, David entered a new stage in his life which has resulted in his formation of Giggle Yoga International, LLC. www.giggleyoga.com

With a pre-launch scheduled for December of 2009, Giggle Yoga International is David's creative expression for helping people to self-realize their own potential.

As part of his outreach through Giggle Yoga International, David is also promoting health, fitness & wellness, green resources, sustainable living and humanitarian concerns.

David describes his near-death experience as a "defining moment" in his life.

“When the Universe allows you to die for a moment, you come back with a remarkable view of life that can only be seen through the eyes of death. Such a view gives you the push to dig deep into your heart and discover the legacy you want to leave before you truly die!"

“Life presents so many different opportunities to learn and grow. Everyone has some sort of "ROCK" in their life... it doesn't matter what "hits us on the head". The only thing we have control over are our choices and actions.”

“Regardless of the events in our lives, until we take responsibility for the situations we find ourselves in, we can never move forward. We are solely responsible for the outcome of the events in our lives because we can choose the meaning we give to our experiences, and the subsequent actions we take.”

“Whatever our current life situation may be, when we make the choice to make a change…, to rescue our self... then, and only then, do we make room for the universe to move in and provide the people, places and circumstances to complete the rescue.”

David’s “near death” experience was indeed a true gift. It has given him the leverage to draw together years of experience.

Quotes From David Strauss...

"Everything we seek, peace, love, laughter, happiness, abundance, understanding,
can be found within us and amongst us.
"

"We are all teachers and students for each other."

"The people we meet provide us the opportunities and experiences to learn, grow, love and evolve."

"Simply stated... Life is a mirror!
"Our outer circumstances are a mirror of the consistent thoughts and emotions we hold in our heart and mind.
Everything that is in our life, we have attracted, either by choice or neglect.
As our awareness of life changes, as our needs, desires and wants change, so too will our surroundings.
If we ever want to know more about where we are in life, we only need look at the people we surround ourselves with."

"There are no ordinary moments.
Every moment in time has its own beauty and hidden mystery.
One moment…, one person…, can change our entire life forever."
